Ode To Mr. King

RIP Rodney King, man of historical circumstance caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. His name brings to mind rage, courage, and memories of the killing streets of Los Angeles. Are race relations any better now? The Riot is, indeed, within. Injustice led to outrage and oh, how the city burned! I WAS THERE. Peace, -Todd

I Am Really Sorry, Dave

Dave, I am so sorry. I gave your cell phone to a prostitute. She was gorgeous. She asked me my name. I said, "Hunter S. Thompson, at your service." She thought I wanted some service. She took your phone as collateral, a down-payment, let's call it a deposit. She loves it when it vibrates, Dave. She LOVES it. So I thank you for the love. And I'm really sorry, Dave.
Peace, -Todd

For Easy and the Red Witch

(for the ghetto kids)

Heavy Metal will save you ...
Not far away saints or singers from California
Keep swingin' - thanks for wonderful nights of Music!
And believe in yourself!

Quiet Riot died on a mountain of cocaine
I met him once, he was a sad man ...
Be different, believe in your dreams: Chicago or Moscow
And nothing else matters

Red Witch stole my sandwich
Cherry Pie stole my heart
Look forward, never backwards
Guitar Dave has a new tart!

Music will save you ...
Not parental warnings or bad employment
Listen to boys with electric toys
All ... night ... long!!!

Peace, -Todd
